LATEST NEEDS
Apart from our daily needs, below are some special needs we have at some of our programmes or campuses. Please contact us if you would like a more comprehensive list, such as capex or specific budgeted items. Your assistance will be much appreciated.
Due to the current lockdown, 13 of our Grade 11 learners are in need of second hand cellphones or tablets to help with their school work. If you are in a position to help, please contact us to make arrangements. We appreciate all the support!
The Johanna Malan Early Childhood Development Centre serves 65-75 children annually with formal pre-school education in Observatory, Johannesburg. These children benefit from a highly respected and successful school readiness programme. This provides them with an important educational foundation, essential to their development and growth. However, the children that attend this school come from poor families in Yeoville and surrounding areas and many parents struggle to cover the school fees.
You can help these children grow into their full potential by sponsoring their school fees for the year or monthly; ⇒ R1 100 per month for 1 child.
If you are able to assist with these children’s school needs, please make a donation here or contact us for more information about the school fees. Alternatively, click here for more information about our Johanna Malan ECDC.
Our Johanna Malan Early Childhood Development Centre sends activity packs and stationary to the children every 2 weeks until it will open again. They are in need of the following:
- Paint
- White wood glue
- Plastic packets (35 x 55cm and 25 x 15cm or 15 x 15cm)
- Small plastic containers with lid
- Coloured paper and cardboard paper
- Paperplates

- Googly eyes (different sizes)
- A3 white paper, A3 white cardboard, A4 white paper
COMPREHENSIVE LISTS OF OUR MONTHLY NEEDS:
If you can contribute with any of these items it will assist us in minimising the expenses on our budget and provide for the basic needs of our children. Please contact us for more information.
